Crochet Easter Bunny

I wanted to do something for the children this Easter that doesn't involve chocolate. Not because I am killjoy and don't want them to have chocolate, but they always get mountains from family members, so I wanted to give them something that they could keep.

And I saw this blog post from The Green Dragonfly for a crochet bunny.

Gosh - I was in love. And, I can make this using left over yarn.

So, Wednesday evening, when the kids were in bed I set to work. Taking some old Style craft DK yarn left over from making a blanket for my daughter and a 4mm hook.

The pattern was really well written and easy to follow, the body was easy. The ears were OK but a little fiddly, and they look a little messy from the back, i will try and neaten this for my next one.

I didn't have any eyes like in the original post so I sewed mine on, this probably took me the longest.

She is made for C and I will make another tonight for S in more boy colours.

Here is the result, isn't she pretty! Squeeeell

I am very happy with her!
