This week.. The weather has been amazing all week! I have had to keep remembering we have not had any rain so all the pots need to be watered.
So how has the garden been growing?
I love the way things are growing together and taking over the whole space.
Some plants I have taken pictures of week after week.
The peas are getting fatter, you can see here where I have been having a little squeeze to see if they are ready yet. They aren't but I cant resist to keep trying
The strawberries, getting redder and being picked most days by the kids as an after school snack
The plants me and the kids planted, in April are all starting to flower.
The poached egg plant (I can now see where the name comes from!)
Some poppies, which I thought were small red wild poppies. They clearly are not, and have grown huge! I wonder what colour they will be?
The sunflower, is still romping skywards at a great pace.
And a few new plants that are flowering or starting to flower.
The delicate flower of a sedum, this one was in my weeds post a weed it has planted itself in a wall by the back door, but is so pretty
And a flower I can never remember the name but is so light pink when it comes out. I love the furry nature of the buds.
So that is our garden for this week.
I am linking up to mammasaurus as usual, pop over and take a look how other gardens are growing.
