So, this week I passed my 100th post! I cant quite believe it. After blogging for only a few months I am really starting to love it. A place that is mine. If people read, then great. If they don't, I don't really mind.
I have stumbled into the blogging world and I am amazed that most people seem so friendly and inclusive, I can't wait to meet some lovely bloggers in September at blogcamp.
So this week...
On Sunday we had a lovely family BBQ for some family who we don't see very often. I made yet another pavlova (I cant seem to stop making them). I also made vanilla ice cream, recipe here if you want to make it, so delicious.
On Monday evening we had a meteor shower and as the kids were staying overnight at my dads again, we decided to go out and have a look. So we went onto the moors where it was dark and watched the amazing shooting stars. I forgot to take a tripod so most images of the sky were very wobbly, I decided to take pictures of the lights of the odd passing car.
Lots of playing for the kids for the rest of the week whilst I was at work.
My dad toook this picture whilst he was looking after the kids, it made me laugh. He took them to The National Coal Mining Museum and they went 'down't pit' someone doesn't look too happy about it!
On Friday afternoon we went school shoe shopping in preparation for going back to school. The kids feet have massively grown over the holidays, and they both now have huge feet.
We went for a play after shopping, I managed to capture this picture of S, he looks a funny with his tooth sticking out and I am not sure where he is looking, but aww
Friday after tea, I took both the children to a kids disco. They had a great time, there was face painting and C always wants her face painting. She waited so patiently for 20 mins for her turn. When she sat on the chair, they said "what would you like" she said "a bulldog" I could't stop laughing. She looked so pleased to be finally having her face painted (although she looked nothing like a bulldog when it was complete)
And Saturday, a lazy day, with a few crafts
How was your week?
