This week... Sunday we went to the garden centre. somehow managed not to see any Christmas items and came away with some bargain house plants, this lovely peace lily was only £2.
This year I didn't buy the kids an advent calendar. My dad had already bought them an advent card, which is lovely. It doesn't have chocolate or toys, just beautifully drawn pictures under the doors.
As I mentioned last week, I have been looking on ebay for furniture for the cellar conversion. On Tuesday I went to collect 2 sofa beds that will go in the den, I somehow managed to dismantle them and get both of them in my car and drive home, I was quite squashed!
But… because the conversion isn't finished the metal sections of the sofas are outside under cover and the foam is stored behind our sofa in the lounge. The kids have really enjoyed bouncing, leaping, jumping and hiding in the foam.
Thursday, we had a crazy storm and incredibly high winds. We were in the studio and all the power went. Waiting for the power to come on and try and keep warm we went for a walk, and ended up on the tallest viaduct in England.
Here is how my husband is getting on with the cellar conversion. Most walls are insulated and some are boarded, we are just waiting of the plumber and then electrician so he can finish this off. Getting exciting but frustrating waiting...
And then we went to the cinema. The kids got a medium drink that was massive.
So that was our week, how was yours?
