You know the days when you want a real chocolate hit. As much chocolates as you can get.
With a hint of citrus.
These are amazing! Really moist, dense and chocolatey
Here is how

Pre-heat oven to 170 C / 325 F / gas mark 3
Add 12 cupcake cases into a muffin tray
Pop the butter and chocolate in a large bowl, set over a pan of simmering water and stir until both melt.
When melted, take off the heat.
Stir in the sugar, hot water, orange zest and juice and vanilla extract.
Sift the flour and cocoa together, add into the mixture.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
Fold in most of the chocolate pieces, keep some to decorate the top.
Put the mixture into the muffin cases and put the chocolate pieces left over on the top of the mixture.
Pop into the oven for 10-15 minutes depending on how gooey you like the centres.
Take out of the oven, but leave in the muffin tray for 10 minutes before removing.
Wait as long as possible before eating.
