I know last week I promised to share the pictures from the tropical place I went to. But to be honest, I have not had time to sort through my images. So, instead I share a plant that is looking marvellous in my garden at the moment.
The yellow flag iris.
A plant we have had for years and last year it flowered after many years of no flowers. This year it has flowered again and it looks great.
A punchy yellow flower with great looking seed pods that will come shortly.
A lot of the plants in my garden are green, pinks and purples. It is really nice to have something quite vibrant.
I have twelve images for you, I wanted to try and do another 20 pictures like I did for the Astrantia Major but didn't quite manage 20.
So here she is in all her glory, the yellow flag iris.
As usual on a Thursday I link up with Annie, take a look at other gardens
