This week I have some pictures from our garden. Some plants are at the end, but still have some nice qualities.
But the rest of the garden is in full song.
Firstly the fruit.
The strawberries and raspberries have been growing with gusto. We have been picking them often, lovely juicy fruit you have grown yourself is incredibly satisfying! The strawberries have all just about gone. But the raspberries are just starting, and it looks like we have a bumper crop this year.
In the rest of the garden, lovely flowery faces are popping up everywhere, so cheery to see!
and finally, the best for last
the sweet peas.
The smell is soooo divine. It is the first year in ages that I have managed to get them to flower and not be eaten by slugs.
I noticed the flower buds and have been popping out several times a day to see if they finally flowered. They now have and this makes me very happy.
And, the best thing about them is that they need picking and bringing into the house to prolong the flowing, so we have the beautiful flowers and scent inside as well.
