An idea for a quick dinner, a lovely flakey tart with a bit of spice. I used leftover chicken from our sunday lunch and that worked a treat.
I give you Chicken and chorizo tart.
- 1 pack of ready rolled puff pastry
- Bowl of left over (or cooked chicken) pieces
- Chorizo cut into slices
- Onions (I used spring onions)
- Cheese (I used red leicester, but most cheeses would work)
Pre Heat oven to 200 degrees C ( check the pack off puff pastry if it isn't the same go by the pack you have bought)
Unpackage the puff pastry and pop onto a lined baking tray.
Prick the middle of the pastry all over (so it doesn't rise as much where you will add the filling) and pop into the oven for about 6 or 7 mins.
After 6 or 7 mins when the pastry is starting to puff and cook, take out of the oven and add the ingredients to the pastry and cover the top with cheese.
Put back in the oven for 10 mins. Just enough time to prepare a quick salad to go with the tart.
After 10 mins take out of the oven
