At the weekend we went to Lyme Park in Cheshire - a National Trust property. It was a nice day, cool but not raining (thankfully) It is a place we will go back to as we didn't explore as much as we wanted to.
One part of the building I wanted to share was the orangery.
I fell totally in love with it.
Here is a small part of it from the outside, it was huge.
I also love the colour of the woodwork - I may take that as inspiration for something.
getting closer to the door, you can see it stuffed full of plants - eek this is going to be a feast for the eyes.
And what a treat it was.
It was so quiet and serene. The kids just sat and looked. It was actually quite magical.
I absolutely love the flooring.
I could have stayed in there all day.
